Hello,
Welcome to the Lilac School website. I hope you find the information useful and the site easy to navigate. Updates will occur frequently, so be sure to log on often.

All of us at Lilac School want to make this a succesful year for your child.Your active support and cooperation, combined with our best professional efforts, will ensure academic success for your child. Our mission is: With parents and teachers working together as a team, towards the same goal, every child will succeed.
As your Principal, you can expect that I will reach out to you and ask for your support, ideas, suggestions and involvment. Please join our team, our school family, where preparing children for the future is our number one priority. I pledge to do my personal best to ensure that each child is challenged, nurtured, and provided with a safe and stimulating learning experience.

The Lilac TPC (Teacher Parent Club) is a volunteer organization of teachers, staff and family members of children that attend Lilac School.

The TPC supports our school through fundraising events and activities throughout the school year.
Direct funding comes from your support of our Membership Drive, bookfairs, Open House bbq's, Lizard Laps, the Halloween Carnival and the Mistletoe Mall (just to name a few).
Examples of items we are raising money for are shade cloths for the playground, computers for every classroom, field trip buses, assemblies, classroom and emergency supplies.
Lilac TPC President Jenni Hakes invites you to join in on the fun! "Volunteering is easy and rewarding. We have spots for volunteers anytime. We'll work with your schedule. Your child's face will light up seeing you on school grounds!"
TPC meetings take place on the last Thursday of the month and childcare is provided. Call Lilac School at (760) 751-1042 and be involved.

All Day Every Day!!

Students that arrive to school on time and stay all day, every day, all month will be celebrated. We will have winners each month from February to mid June. Perfect attendance counts!

The Lilac Library boasts a well rounded selection of 9,552 books in both English and Spanish languages. Students are welcomed inside to relax upon overstuffed bean-bag chairs and couches to enjoy reading in our "feel at home atmosphere".
