Our mission is: With parents and teachers working together as a team, towards the same goal, every child will succeed.
As your Principal, you can expect that I will reach out to you and ask for your support, ideas, suggestions and involvment. Please join our team, our school family, where preparing children for the future is our number one priority. The Lilac TPC (Teacher-Parent Club) is a volunteer organization of teachers, staff and family members of children that attend Lilac School.
The TPC supports our school through fundraising events and activities throughout the school year.
Direct funding comes from your support of our Membership Drive, Book Fairs, Open House bbq's, Lizard Laps, Mistletoe Mall and more.
Examples of items we are raising money for are shade cloths for the playground, computers for every classroom, field trip buses, assemblies, and classroom and emergency supplies.
We would love to have you join in the fun. Volunteering is easy and rewarding. We have events in the morning, afternoon and evening and we will work with your schedule. We would love to have you help us even if you can only commit to an hour.  Your child's face will light up seeing you on school grounds!
The first TPC meeting for this fall will take place from 6-7pm on August, 31, 2011. Childcare will be provided. All further TPC meetings take place either on the 2^nd or 3^rd Wednesday of each month from 1-2pm. Call Lilac School at (760) 751-1042 and be involved.
